This is a face to face event for teams across Yorkshire and the Humber on the topic of peri-operative opioid stewardship and managing and implementing change.

The event is being offered free of charge to colleagues across Yorkshire and the Humber and attendance is encouraged from acute pain teams, anaesthetists, ward teams involved in pain management, clinical nurse specialists, and colorectal surgeons.  CPD certificates will be available to all those who attend the day.

The event will share some work and a toolkit the YCRBCIP has produced to help support implementation peri-operative opioid stewardship for colorectal cancer patients.  The day will include presentations from teams who have tested elements of the toolkit and interactive workshops facilitated by implementation specialists to encourage networking and help develop solutions to identified barriers to implementing change.  A programme will be circulated next week.
