The Nursing Workstream of the Yorkshire Cancer Research Bowel Cancer Improvement Programme (YCRBCIP) is holding an online education event for nursing teams across the Yorkshire and Humber region on Lynch Syndrome and Deficient Mismatch Repair (dMMR).
This event is free to register and attend and is open to all nursing teams/ trainee nurses who are interested in learning more about how people are diagnosed with Lynch Syndrome and dMMR via the clinical genetics service and pathology services, what happens when patients are diagnosed, how to make a referral to the clinical genetics team and the implications for patients with bowel cancer on treatment decisions.
